 The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate design interpretation during the  production of both conceptual and working drawings which accurately represent all aspects of the projects construction. You will be tasked with fulfilling technical drafting responsibilities for a variety of complex building types, often as part of an integrated architectural and engineering team.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide good quality concept and construction documents for complex projects
• Work as a member of a larger team as well as complete work independently
• Provide accurate and timely work
• Follow all company standards, policies and procedures
• Provide good quality control while working on a variety of projects
• Ensure documents follow design guidelines, code requirements and other regulations
• Visit sites in order to gather the essential data for the design of plans
• Develop perspective renderings by using specialized computer software
• Attend the meetings of the design and production team

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• College diploma in Architectural Technology or other equivalent training
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the completion of technical drawings
• Excellent computer drafting skills including AutoCad and REVIT
• Excellent initiative along with attention to detail
• Good organizational skills with the ability to assess and prioritize work
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to solve problems and learn quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude/disposition
• Considerable drafting experience on complex projects
• Working knowledge of local building codes
